Difference between Career and Job

Mostly people misunderstand the right meaning of a successful job and successful career. Famous, Robert Frost  said, The difference between career and job is the difference between forty and sixty hours a week.
Often we see people getting confused between a successful job and a successful career. They mean different things.

Job is an activity through which an individual can earn money. It does not require any special skill set, or education.

Job is function oriented – a mode that can help a person earn personal finances of any kind. A job may not require long term commitment and can be relatively safer than a career.

On the other hand career is a lifelong pursuit of your dream.
Often careers commence with education and development of a particular skill set.
A career can only be built with the right mix of education and skills.
